Tools are a significant part of how we create, and they impact the way we create pieces of art. Starting with some of the tools I love and create with, Artist’s Desk is meant to be a place to share the tools we use to inform and inspire. To be a place where we can explore different tools as well as different ways to use them, seen through pieces of art that are shared alongside the tools. It’s meant to showcase the beauty of each tool that is manipulated to make unique strokes, and to inspire others to use tools differently. This is intended to be a resource for determining which supplies to get, depending on what kind of art the creator is trying to make. Whether expensive or inexpensive, there might be an unexpected tool that is found here to create a piece that was not previously thought of.
